Enviro Challenge makes “Industrial Design” of recycling hall

The government in the Netherlands more often requires that recycling companies carry out recycling activities on the company site, like recycling of construction and demolition waste, indoors. Now the “general provisions environmental law” is operational in the Netherlands, decisions concerning environmental and building matters are taken by one and the same authority. Certainly when a company wants to recycle large amounts and when the development plan asks for indoor recycling, there is only one way : design a recycling hall that meets the standards concerning use, working conditions and environment. 

In this frame Enviro Challenge has supported a Dutch recycling company (from Eindhoven) with an “Industrial Design” of a recycling hall. After several conversations...

Enviro Challenge supports company extension with 3D impression

When a company has the possibility to buy land in the neighbourhood and wants to expand, the government often has to give permission. The destination for land management does not always match with the planned extension. In this case, the government often requires strict demands concerning environment and appearance. 

Recently, Enviro Challenge has supported a company in this situation that wants to expand for soil seeving, C&DW recycling and concrete production. The company is located near a busy highway which will double in capacity in the future. Nearby, there is a small river that the government wants to meander. The company is willing to partly exchange their own parcels for greenfields. 

The 3D impression of Enviro Challenge visualises from the sky and from different angles on ground level how the company looks like now and how it will look like in the future. By visualising the situation, officials and councels...
